In 2011, 15 students from southern Ontario were given the opportunity to visit a forestry dependent community in northern Ontario. They saw first hand what forestry in Ontario was all about- different stakeholders, machinery at work, ecosystem elements and the challenges of balancing multiple needs from our forest.
